Our mission is to support their growth and development while focusing on emotional well-being, education, and life skills. We believe in the potential of every girl, fostering resilience and self-confidence as they navigate their individual journeys. By cultivating a community of trust, respect, and understanding, we aim to inspire and equip each resident to achieve their dreams and become positive contributors to society. Our Facility
The T&TGH for Girls is a 3 bedroom welcoming home, in a quiet residential neighborhood in the bustling city of Philadelphia. This setting puts clients in a familiar, cozy environment and allows them to remain living in a community setting while they work towards their goals. The maximum capacity is 4 clients.
Our Admissions
The T&TGH for Girls is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and accommodates females aged 13 to 18. We support emotionally troubled children, those with behavioral issues, and their families. Referrals may also include children requiring protective services, adjudicated delinquents, and voluntary placements. However, we regret that we cannot accept clients exhibiting extreme aggressive behaviors or suicidal ideation.
To begin the admission process, please reach out to the home's program director using the contact button below. We will ask for your input on the client's treatment goals. After an initial phone screening, we will request additional background information, including psychological evaluations, family history, and reports from previous interventions. A pre-placement interview may be arranged, although it is not always necessary.
Our Accommodations
Our home is designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for our residents. We offer spacious bedrooms, communal living areas, three home cooked meals, tutoring, and a range of amenities including cable TV and Wi-Fi.
